Howabout a life update?

Today (Tuesday) has been quite a day.

Lately, I’ve been having issues with my asthma. Until now, it’s been regularly controlled by my primary care physician, but I decided that I needed to go see a specialist. Two weeks ago, I made my appointment and last week I basically had to stop taking all of my medications in preparation for allergy/asthma testing this morning. I am so out of whack.

Last night, I couldn’t sleep. I’m glad to be able to take my allergy medicine again!

Today started with the allergy specialist appointment. After being poked and prodded for an hour (found out what exactly I’m allergic to!), they switched my asthma medication. I have two weeks to test it out and see how I feel before making the switch permanent. I’m just hoping that it all works out, ya know?

After that, I treated my father to brunch. I called it “Happy Last Day of Your Birthday Month Brunch!” He was thrilled.

Then, he took me to visit one of the farms he does repairs and electrical maintenance on. This farm raises prize Highland cattle. For cows, they were really cool. The calf I saw was hilariously skittish, slipping and sliding on the concrete in the barn when she realized we were there.

They’re already up there on my list of favorite animals.

Because I was up all last night, I finished another book, Say What You Will by Cammie McGovern. I’m glad I didn’t post a June Wrap-up yet! Expect that soon.

I don’t really know why I wanted to post about my day. Maybe it was an excuse to look at pictures of Highland cattle.

Now, I’m watching some Scandal on Netflix and playing Animal Crossing:  New Leaf, but I will see you tomorrow for Top 5 Wednesday!
